- The GLONASS/GNSS-FORUM Association is a non-governmental non-profit institution established in October 2007. The Association accommodates over 80 leading state and commercial enterprises, scientific and educational institutions involved in GLONASS design, manufacture of satellite equipment (applications) and use of satellite navigation technology. The main goals of Association are to coordinate activities of its members involved in development, production and commercial use of GLONASS-based equipment and applications, to analyze and select GLONASS development priorities in the Russian Federation, to participate in government policy-making for the GLONASS commercial use, to cooperate with Russian and international partners to enhance the investment appeal, material and technical resources and scientific expertise of enterprises.
