- The Messe Dusseldorf Group*: With €300 million turnover in 2015, the Messe Dusseldorf group was able to assert its position as one of the most successful German trade fair groups. At the events in Dusseldorf, around 25,700 exhibitors presented their products to 1.1 million specialist visitors, this trade fair year. In addition, there were more than 400,000 congress visitors. With around 50 specialized trade fairs, including 24 number 1 events in the five competence areas of machines, plants and equipment, business, trade and services, medicine and health, fashion and lifestyle, and leisure at the Dusseldorf venue, and around 80 to 100 in-house events, investments and commissioned events abroad, the Messe Dusseldorf group is one of the leading export platforms worldwide. Thereby, Messe Dusseldorf GmbH ranks in 1st place in terms of internationality at investment goods trade fairs. At the in-house events in the competence field of machines, plants and equipment, around 64% of the exhibitors and 54% of the specialist visitors come to the Rhine from overseas, and in total, visitors from around 180 countries visit the trade fairs in Dusseldorf.
