- OPRA Turbines is a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced radial gas turbines and gas turbine powered generator sets in the 2 MW power range. The OP16 gas turbine benefits from a simple and flexible design providing robustness, reliability, low emissions and class leading efficiency well suited for a variety of applications within the oil & gas industry and for light industrial and commercial applications. OPRA provides dual fuel and off-specification fuel options in single or multiple installations from 1 to 10 MW electric power demand. Units have been effectively operating on sour well head gas and other associated gases, crude oil, syngases both onshore and offshore in Russia, Brazil and the North Sea since 2005. OPRA units have accumulated more than 900.000 hours running on wellhead gas avoiding flaring at site. Test facilities, packaging, R&D department and a 24-Hr-on-call service department are headquartered in Hengelo, the Netherlands. Sales offices are located in Amsterdam, Russia and S/E Asia. The Russian office is located in Moscow and there is a team of Russian service engineers taking care of the fleet of engines in Russia. The OP16 gas turbines are in operation in several oil and gas fields in Russia.
