- At the initiative of the UN General Assembly, 2019 is declared the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. At the KHIMIYA 2019 exhibition, a specialized exposition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the periodic table will be organized. The exposition includes modern developments in the field of chemistry and materials science, various installations of the Periodic Table, from the oldest world copy of the Periodic Table (Vienna, 1885), found by scientists at the University of St Andrews in Scotland to interactive forms.
