- The Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Chuvash Republic is the leading multidisciplinary medical organization of the republic, that provides high-quality high-tech specialized medical care services in 11 medical fields. More than 15 thousand patients receive specialized medical care at the hospital annually. The hospital's therapeutic departments offer highly qualified medical care with an individualized approach to each patient, that is in many ways unprecedented in the Republic. The surgical departments of the hospital perform over 8,000 surgeries. Its priority lies with minimally invasive procedures, including minimal access surgery with the aid of endoscopic, radiological and ultrasound imaging. Over 1,400 high technology medical interventions have been conducted in the hospital. It is one of the key areas for the further development of the hospital. Some of the areas with great prospects include nutritional assistance, bariatric surgery (or weight loss surgery) and plastic surgery.
