- The company specializes in arrangement of manufacture of products made of polymeric sand mixtures based on local polymer wastes and sand. The basis of our project and its activity is the concept of environmentally safe production and disposal of polymer wastes at the territory of Novy Urengoy. In order to produce construction materials our company uses natural raw materials – sand and (what is even more important) recycled polymer wastes collected at the plant’s territory. In our city we are the sole entity which specializes in recycling of such wastes for further production purposes. One of the key sources of polymer wastes are wholesale and retail trade enterprises, key construction companies (polyethylene bags, packing materials, soft polypropylene containers, big-bags for loose goods). A part of such polymer wastes recycling process is preparation for disposition/disposition of waste paper deriving from polymer waste segregation. Production of construction materials is environmentally safe since the basis of the technology is formed by the processes with no chemically hazardous emissions to the atmosphere. ECOGRAD innovative project has the following forecasted results: — Reduction of polymer wastes in the city; — Satisfaction of market needs for construction materials with step-by-step enlargement of the product range and type of end products.
