- All-Russia Research Institute of Vegetables and Melons Irrigated Agricultural Sciences is one of the few Russian agencies specializing in the sectors of scientific support of vegetable, melon, forage and cotton agro-industrial complex of Russia. Institution is a large selection center in the south of Russia, in which significant genetic material to create varieties and hybrids of F1 for all regions of the Russian Federation is accumulated. At present 56 varieties and F1 hybrid: 26 of vegetable, 25 of melon, 5 of commercial crops are included in the State Register of the Russian Federation.
